I’m always very happy when I’m featured on Musica Jazz, Italy’s greatest magazine.

On August’s issue there’s a great review of my concert with Totem at Acireale Jazz Festival in Sicily.

“Great music on stage for the last night of the Festival with Ferdinando Romano’s sextet, who made one of the best albums of 2020 and was awarded as “Best Italian Rising Star” (together with Federico Calcagno) in the Top Jazz poll. The sextet played the album tracks totally confirming all the qualities (writing, interplay, articulation, elegance, soloism) with the addition of the pathos that only the live show can give, especially in such a suggestive place like Acireale’s main square. Honor to Romano and his musicians, all showcasing a high level of playing, for being able to enchant the large audience, who called them again for an encore, an unreleased song at the second performance ever”
